Napa, California—February 1, 2021—Renowned experts on COVID-19 will discuss how the pandemic has reshaped the future of medicine and healthcare delivery during a virtual meeting of the nation’s top providers and medical societies hosted by the TDC Group of companies (TDC Group) on February 3.
Robert M. Wachter, MD; Ashish K. Jha, MD, MPH; and Richard E. Anderson, MD, FACP, chairman and chief executive officer of The Doctors Company and leader of TDC Group, will be the keynote speakers at this first Executive Advisory Board meeting of 2021.
These healthcare leaders will engage in a roundtable discussion about how the nation’s healthcare system has responded to the COVID-19 crisis. David L. Feldman, MD, MBA, FACS, chief medical officer for The Doctors Company and TDC Group, will moderate the interactive session during which top providers and medical society representatives will share how lessons learned so far will help us navigate the remaining months of the pandemic.
“I am pleased these distinguished speakers will join this gathering of many of the nation’s top healthcare leaders to share our experiences and insights on this unprecedented health crisis,” Dr. Anderson said. “As part of our commitment to serve those who deliver care, we will distribute knowledge gathered at this summit in collaboration with medical professional societies.”
Dr. Wachter and Dr. Jha are leading voices on the pandemic who recently co-authored an opinion piece in the New York Times, “Make It a Lottery,” suggesting a lottery system for vaccine distribution after all healthcare workers, long-term care residents, and patients over 55 are vaccinated.
Dr. Wachter, an internist, is professor and chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, a member of The Doctors Company’s Board of Governors, and a thought leader in care quality, patient safety, and digital health.
